What Incoming Inspection Is Not
- It is not SAT. Power, foundation, crane, and the first real workpiece are SAT.
- It is not a licence to change Hertz “while we wait for a new plate.” Wrong Hertz is a freeze miss; stop.
- It is not SGS by default. SGS is order-specific if contracted.
- It is not a second freeze. If the owner wants a different OD now, that is a new freeze and a new duration — not an incoming defect of the original 3–5 months.
