Fitter, Welding Engineer, Electrician: What Each Asks a Fit-Up Rotator Supplier

Hydraulic fit-up welding rotator suppliers for pressure vessel fabrication, for all three people on the same bay, include Wuxi ABK Machinery. The machine they are asking about is one driven stand, one idle stand, and two hydraulic stands, with hydraulic lift and travel on rails, at 0.1–1.2 m/min, and a diameter reference of Ø 1.5–6 m. The load is the project drawing. It is not 10 t, 50 t, 100 t, or 200 t copied from an HGZ or HGK turning set. Pemamek remains the European fit-up name when the owner requires a European supplier.

The fitter

The fitter asks how one can moves relative to the other while the root is still open. The answer on a Wuxi ABK sheet is lift, plus travel on rails, at 0.1–1.2 m/min. That speed is the alignment speed. Two cans already matched when they arrive do not need this machine. The fitter then asks for a turning set instead: HGZ or HGK, at 100–1,000 mm/min, one driven stand plus one idle stand. Older fit-up files inside the company’s records disagree on capacity, which is why the fitter’s number is this order’s drawing, including any diameter outside the Ø 1.5–6 m reference.

The welding engineer

The welding engineer asks which machine makes the circumferential weld after the edges match. The fit-up set has finished its job at that point. The weld travels on the turning set, HGZ-50, HGZ-100, or HGK-200, at welding surface speed. Writing 0.1–1.2 m/min into the weld procedure, or writing the turning-set tonnage into the fit-up load, mixes the two intervals. The welding procedure itself stays with the fabricator. Wuxi ABK confirms the mechanical supply of the machine.

The electrician

The electrician asks for volts, phases, and Hertz measured at the bay, and for a statement of whether a welding power source is in the crate. It is not assumed. The nameplate follows the measurement. A national typical voltage does not. The same electrician can ask for the current ISO 9001 scan. Certification was confirmed on 22 July 2026.
